REGISTRATION AND TUITION

Enrolling may be done on-line, by phone, or in person at the school’s office. Payment must be made at the time of registration to reserve the student’s placement in the class. There is a maximum class size depending on age and ability level. A current Student Registration Form completed and signed isrequired before starting class. Students and parents are responsible for adhering to CDA guidelines for classroom attire, behavior and attendance. Dance shoes and clothes are required in the classroom. Hair must be fixed for the appropriate dance style. Tuition is due upon registration and also one week before the next month’s tuition payment. Students may take class only when it’s been paid for in advance. Class fees are based on the length of each class. Tuition rates are calculated for a group class of 5 students or more. If and when the class size decreases below the minimum, students will have a choice of a semi-private rate or a tuition refund for the unused classes. Credit will not be given for missed classes; the student can attend another class to make up the missed one within the current semester. After 15 days, tuition refunds are not given. Tuition payment methods: cash, debit/credit cards (only Visa & Master Card available); no checks.

SINGLE CLASS RATES: $16/hr, $23/1.5hr, $30/2 hr. Inquire for private lesson (technique, choreography) rates.

1 - 2.5 hrs $13.50/hr

3 - 5 hrs $11.50/hr

5.5 - 8 hrs $ 9.50/hr

8.5 - 10.5 hrs $ 7.50/hr

11+ unltd hrs $275 per month

11-14 hrs $ 6.00/hr family rate

14.5+ hrs $ 5.00/hr family rate

Ballet Company Costume Rentals: A $25 deposit is due with registration for each costume per role performing; the balance is due by 10/5/09 for The Nutcracker and by 3/1/10 for the June concert. Rentals include fittings, alterations, dry cleaning/washing, dyeing, accessories and a portion of new purchases.

ANNUAL SUMMER CONCERT 2010: June 6-13

For all students. Location for rehearsals & shows coming soon. Theatre Participation for all dancers is due w/ Semester 2 tuition (tickets not included) & based on number of class dances: $35 for 1-1.5 hrs/wk, $50 for 2-5 hrs/wk, $75 for 6 + hrs/wk.

Company Performance Participation: $75 due w/ Semester 2 tuition (tickets not included) Costume rentals per role, $25 & up.

Costume for Class Dances at the Summer Concert A $25 deposit for each costume/class dance is due with registration for non-company students. The balance is due by 12/5/09. Costumes must be paid for before ordering. Costume fees can be refunded in full if the costume has not been ordered. Custom made costumes: $75 for combo classes, $100 all others. Costume fees may include: new costume, alterations, dyeing, embellishments and accessories (jewelry, gloves, headpieces, special tights &/or shoes).

ARIZONA DANCE THEATRE - Company Performance Fees, Competitions, Conventions, Invitationals

These fees are due 40 days prior to the date of the competition. Costumes & tickets are not included. A 15% surcharge is added for preparation & processing. Dates and fees are tentative & variable depending on venue. All events are in Phoenix except UA Jazz Showcase, The Nutcracker and The Summer Concert. Host hotels and theatres coming soon. All events are mandatory. Dates posted July 2009.
